Meet the Moglins!
Moglins (moglo habilis) are an intelligent race of creatures that inhabit the world of Lore. These adorable little critters come in an array of different colors and have large distinguished ears, stubby arms and legs, and sport a long, softly curved tail. Moglins hold a significant role in the balance between Order and Chaos. Why do such little cute things always hold such secrets?
Generally, Moglins are carefree and friendly, offering a helping paw to any hero who needs assistance. Some Moglins, however, can be grouchy, have a horrible temper, or are just pure evil. Throughout your travels in Lore, you will encounter many Moglins of all shapes, sizes, colors, and demeanors. Below are some of the most famous—or famously notorious—Moglins in AdventureQuest Worlds!

Twilly
Cuddlier than any fabric softener bear and more puntable than a football, Twilly is a true friend to all. His helpful heals in the town of Battleon have made him one of the most liked and famous Moglins in the world of Lore. No one is quite sure how he got that chunk taken out of his right ear... erm... left ear... erm... well, I guess it depends on which way he is facing (2D world dynamics are so weird)! Any way you look at it, Twilly is a good Moglin that you can count on!

Moglins don’t get much cuter than Twig! The story goes that the Lunch Lady Oishii saved Twig as a baby, but after consuming an elemental orb from Oishii’s spice cabinet, Twig gained the power of invincibility! This orb was crucial to Twig’s survival since very few can survive Oishii's signature dishes. Twig has a strange love for fish & ice cream, mixed together in a creamy casserole served with pickles, gummi bears and some hot chocolate. Twig’s adorableness is amplified with his super cute speech impediment!
Consumed with delusions of grandeur and dreams of world conquest, Zorbak is a pure Ebil Moglin. All that stands between him and his wicked goal is... a way to actually do it. So if you encounter Zorbak on your travels, be careful what you give him! If there is mischief, expect to hear Zorbak's signature "Meh heh heh" in the distance!

Quibble Coinbiter is everyone’s favorite never-before-seen-used item salesmoglin who visits the town of Battleon. No one knows if Quibble’s items will show up later or if they will go permanently rare, so your best bet is to buy everything from his shop in case it’s the latter! Quibble also has the uncanny knack of showing up right before the next Lord of Chaos strikes… and always seems to know an awful lot about the Chaos Lords, too!

Major Moglin
Ruling over the Moglins of Frostvale with a firm but fair paw, Major Moglin is the King of Frostvale! Watching over the snowy town with a quiet sense of duty and pride, he guides his fellow Moglins through each Frostval season, ensuring the spirit of the holiday endures—no matter what dangers may arise. From his place at the heart of Frostvale, Major Moglin offers guidance and gratitude to all who come to its aid. Those who prove their worth in defending the town may earn access to his special collection of treasures—a privilege reserved for heroes who have truly gained his trust!
Blizzy
A cheerful little Moglin with a coat as light-blue as freshly fallen snow, Blizzy has become a familiar face during Frostval festivities across Lore. Bursting with boundless energy, Blizzy is always eager to help spread the holiday cheer—whether that means lending a paw to heroes or getting caught up in the latest seasonal chaos. Often found in town or near holiday portals, Blizzy is a brave guide who tasks heroes with defeating bosses like the Yettun to save Frostvale. Blizzy’s enthusiasm is as endless as the winter season itself, making him a beloved companion whenever Frostval rolls around!

A cool-headed Moglin from the frosty lands of Frostvale, Chilly is as much a part of Frostval as snow and presents. In AdventureQuest, Chilly says the holiday of Frostval started there almost a century ago when his great-great-granduncle Hummus thought it would be nice to start a holiday. But "Hummus Day" wasn't very popular, so he gave up making everyone celebrate it. Then Chilly's great-great Aunt Floe decided to cheer Hummus up, she started a holiday everyone loved, she called it Frostval, after their town of Frostvale. Chilly is also a professional snowballer — taking part in the town’s daily snowball fights!
With a festive ribbon perched neatly atop her head, Tinsel is one of Frostval’s most dedicated Gift Moglins. Known for her cheerful spirit and tireless work ethic, she plays a central role in the holiday’s gift-giving traditions — helping Quibble prepare and deliver presents across Lore. During Frostval, Tinsel can often be found busily organising giftboxes and ensuring everything is ready in time for the big day. When it comes to wrapping presents, few can match her skill—her perfectly tied ribbons and neatly wrapped gifts have earned her a reputation as one of the finest wrappers in all of Frostvale!

Cole
Always on the move and rarely seen without a pair of scissors in paw, Cole is a fast-talking Moglin known for his sharp skills and even sharper deals. Whether offering bargains on goods or lending a helping hand, Cole has a knack for showing up right when he’s needed… or when there’s business to be done. During Frostval, Cole trades in his role as a travelling salesman to assist with the holiday rush, helping prepare gifts alongside Tinsel. His precision with scissors makes him one of the finest wrappers in Frostvale—though some heroes can’t help but feel a little nervous watching him work at such speed! When he’s not caught up in the holiday frenzy, Cole is said to have a talent for styling as well, giving heroes quick trims and last-minute touch-ups before the celebrations begin. Just… try not to move while he’s working!
Truffle
A rare and remarkable Moglin, Truffle is one of the only known Moglins that can fly. As the trusted companion of Valencia Surehunter, Truffle is well known for her keen nose for rare items, often helping uncover treasures that others would never find. During Frostval, Truffle’s unique abilities make her an invaluable helper around Frostvale. With a flutter of her wings, she can reach the highest rooftops and hardest-to-reach corners, carefully placing decorations and guiding the festive preparations from above. Some heroes even find themselves relying on Truffle to navigate the busy town, as she effortlessly darts through the winter air!
Va-Va BOOM!
If there’s a bang, a flash, or a sky full of colour, chances are Va-Va BOOM! is behind it. A Moglin with a passion for all things explosive, she is Lore’s best pyrotechnician — bringing light, sound, and a little bit of chaos to every celebration. Known for her love of fireworks (and things that go BOOM!), Va-Va BOOM! is always experimenting with new ways to brighten the night sky. While some may find her enthusiasm a little… intense, there’s no denying her talent when it comes to putting on a show. During Frostval and the New Year, she takes center stage once the sun goes down, crafting dazzling displays that transform the snowy skies into a spectacle of colour and light. Thanks to this pyrotechnical prodigy, Frostvale’s nights are just as magical as its days— just be sure to stand back when she lights the fuse!

Nelson
Meet Nelson, Lore’s best litter-picker-upper Moglin! While heroes are busy battling monsters and saving the day, Nelson is right there afterwards making sure the aftermath doesn’t stick around. From discarded gear to battlefield debris, nothing escapes his careful cleanup efforts. During Frostval, when the celebrations are in full swing and the town is filled with festivities, Nelson becomes especially busy—picking up empty giftboxes, discarded ribbons, and torn wrapping paper left behind after heroes eagerly tear into their presents, making sure Frostvale stays just as magical once the celebrations are over. If you ever need a cleanup crew, Nelson is the one you call!
Sunny
Proudly wearing a floaty, Sunny is… not entirely sure how Frostvale works. Hailing from the sun-soaked beaches of Lolosia, he arrived expecting bright skies, warm sand, and endless waves — only to find himself surrounded by snow, ice, and confusingly enthusiastic celebrations about something called Frostval. So he’s been a little confused ever since. Still, Sunny refuses to let a little thing called WINTER ruin a good time. With unwavering optimism (and his trusty floaty), he insists that every snowy day is “perfect beach weather” — even if his sandcastle-building efforts in the snow haven’t gone quite as planned…
